After the death of his father, T’Challa returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king — and as Black Panther — gets tested when he’s drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people.
Marvel’s hit it out of the park with this masterful superhero drama unlike any other, featuring outstanding acting, breathtaking art direction, fascinating royal intrigue, memorable action sequences and surprising depth.
Boseman is great, but it’s his co-stars who steal the show, especially the female actors who each show unforced charisma and flair – which was great, but not so much for Boseman who sunk into the background whenever he shared a scene.
Killmonger is the first MCU villain you can actually relate to and understand his reasons for doing what he does, and Jordan absolutely smashes the role!
This movie has a beating heart, and a big one. Why do we need a Lion King remake when we have this piece of art?
