Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
10 years in the making, and the payoff was worth every minute! What the Russo Brothers achieved is an a cinematic masterpiece.
Marvel have solved their third-act problem, villain problem, and then some. However prepared you feel, you are not ready for Thanos (who is terrifyingly portrayed by a mo-cap Brolin) and neither are our heroes.
It can’t be judged as a stand-alone film since it doesn’t stand alone, but a decade of the MCU’s efforts pay off in a massive way as Infinity War delivers on all the hype with blistering action and relentless humour.
Certain moments touch the heart as we say goodbye for now to numerous heroes and villains who we have grown to love by this point – and characters who have never met before are forced to work together with some intense and some hysterical scenes.
A must watch for every superhero fan – Marvel, showing DC how it is done.
