Three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that’s about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.
I am never ever trusting a trailer ever again. think that the first Jurassic World is the second best in the franchise (after the original obviously), secondly – all the exciting scenes from the trailer are not actual scenes in the film. They’re from a montage in the last couple of minutes of the movie, all of which don’t have any payoff.
It really plays less like a dinosaur spectacular and more like a cheesy, 70s disaster movie with mad scientists and crazy experiments. What the hell was the clone storyline for? Urgh.
All the character development from the first film is unravelled, and they make too many dumb decisions.
The only saving grace is that the few dinosaur scenes (not including the awful ‘new’ Dino) are really nice – but we definitely needed more of them.
